What kind of websites does Origo build?

Origo builds custom marketing websites and e-commerce stores for established, owner-operated businesses, typically sites in the range of 5 to 25 pages designed to build trust, generate leads, and rank in search.

What technology does Origo use to build websites?

We build using two primary approaches: custom-coded sites for businesses that want maximum performance and longevity, and WordPress for businesses that need flexibility, e-commerce, or content management built in. Both approaches use modern web standards optimized for speed, SEO, and ease of maintenance.

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Yes. Every Origo website is built mobile-first and tested across devices, browsers, and screen sizes. The majority of your visitors will arrive on a phone, and your site has to perform there before anywhere else.

Will my website be optimized for SEO?

Yes. Every Origo website is built with SEO foundations baked in: clean code, fast load times, proper structure, and on-page optimization for your priority keywords. Ongoing SEO is a separate service that builds on this foundation.

Who hosts my website after launch?

You always have the option to host your website wherever you choose. We don't lock you into our infrastructure. If you'd like Origo to handle hosting, your site is cared for on a stateside server with managed performance, security, and backups, typically as part of Website Concierge.

Can I update the website myself after launch?

Most of our clients prefer to hand updates to us through Website Concierge rather than manage the site themselves. That's part of why concierge exists. If you want direct edit access for certain sections, we can build that in during the design phase.

How long does a website project take?

Most Origo websites launch within 6 to 12 weeks, depending on scope, content readiness, and how quickly feedback comes back. See our full FAQ for more detail.

Does Origo believe in website ownership?

Yes. We believe every business should fully own its website. That's why our contracts state that the business owns the property outright, and it's why we don't build on closed platforms like Squarespace, Wix, or Webflow where you're effectively renting your site.
