VanGelder Technologies
A software development firm with an impressive client roster, and now a brand that shows it.
Branding
We build brand identities that communicate who you are, what you stand for, and why clients should choose you, before you say a word.
The Problem
Most small businesses have a logo they've outgrown, colors they chose randomly, and no consistent way to present themselves. The result? They look like every other company in their industry, and prospects don't remember them.
Our Approach
We start with strategy, who you are, who you serve, and what makes you different. Then we build a visual and verbal identity system that expresses that clearly and consistently across every touchpoint.
The goal isn't to make something pretty. The goal is to make something that works, that attracts the right clients, builds trust faster, and makes every piece of your marketing stronger.
What's Included
Each branding engagement is scoped to your business. Here's what we typically deliver.
A structured session to understand your business, your audience, and what makes you distinct.
Primary, secondary, and icon marks, delivered in every format you'll ever need.
A defined set of brand colors with usage guidelines for digital and print.
Headline and body typefaces that reflect your brand's personality and work at every size.
Tone, language, and messaging guidelines so your words sound as sharp as your visuals.
A complete reference document for how to use your brand across every context.
How It Works
Most branding projects take 3–5 weeks from kickoff to delivery.
We start by learning your business, your goals, and your audience. No questionnaire, a real conversation.
We define your positioning, your voice, and the core idea your brand will be built around.
We present 2 distinct creative directions for you to choose from, mood boards and initial concepts.
We build out your chosen direction and refine it with your feedback over 2 revision rounds.
You receive your complete brand package, every file, every format, and a guide for how to use it.
Is This Right for You?
Honest criteria. We'd rather tell you now than waste both our time.

A church that knew what it stood for, and finally had a logo that showed it.
Branding · Identity
A real estate brand built to stand out in a market full of agents who all look the same.
"Origo recently re-designed our church logo and did a wonderful job. Jon took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. There were many times where he took my jumbled thoughts and made them make sense, and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. If you're looking for design work, I'd definitely recommend Origo!"
"My experience with Origo can be explained as nothing less than incredible. Jon really cares about his clients and goes the extra mile. I started out commissioning them to do a simple logo design (which came out perfect), but now I'm looking to them as a long term partner in my business. I can't say enough good things about this incredible company!"
"Our church recently worked with Jon at Origo to update all of our branding, and our online presence, including a new logo and brand new website. We are incredibly happy with how everything turned out. They were great to work with and very patient. They took time to understand both our wants and needs and then delivered a product that we can be proud of. Great work! Well done! Thanks guys!"
"I've commissioned Origo both for building a website and for logo design and both times, they've done excellent work! If you're starting from scratch or have an idea in mind, they're prompt, available and overall easy to work with. I highly recommend them!"
A full branding project includes brand strategy, logo design, color palette, typography system, and a brand guidelines document. Depending on scope, we can also include secondary marks, brand voice, photography direction, and launch assets.
You get a full brand identity system, not just a logo. A logo on its own can't carry a brand. You need a coordinated system of marks, colors, type, and voice that work together everywhere your business shows up.
We typically present a small number of refined directions rather than a large volume of rough concepts. Our process invests heavily in strategy upfront so the directions we present are already aligned with your business, making the decision easier, not harder.
We can refresh and extend an existing logo into a fuller identity system rather than starting from scratch. Many established businesses don't need a rebrand. They need their existing brand to work harder across more places.

Yes. While our focus is digital presence, we routinely design business cards, signage, and other print materials as extensions of the brand identities we build. We don't print in-house. We have partnerships with small-business print shops who handle production and ship directly to you.
Branding projects typically run 6 to 12 weeks from kickoff to final delivery, depending on the depth of strategy work and feedback turnaround. See our full FAQ for more on timelines.
