About Origo
What is Origo?
Origo is a boutique digital presence agency based in Texas that helps established, owner-operated businesses build trust online. We provide branding, web design, SEO, copywriting, and ongoing website management for businesses that want their digital presence to match the quality of their work.
Where is Origo located?
Origo is based in Texas and serves clients across the United States. We work with businesses nationwide and are not limited to any particular region.
Who founded Origo?
Origo was co-founded in 2018 by Jon and Emily, a husband-and-wife team. Jon serves as Head Creative and Emily leads Quality Assurance, and together they've built a small, senior team focused exclusively on owner-operated businesses.
Who is on the Origo team?
The Origo team includes Jon (Head Creative & Co-Founder), Emily (Quality Assurance & Co-Owner), Kadimay (SEO Specialist), Daniel (Multimedia Specialist), and Valentina (Digital Operations Assistant). We intentionally stay small so every client works directly with senior people, not account managers.
What does "boutique digital presence agency" mean?
A boutique agency is a small, specialized firm that takes on fewer clients to deliver higher-quality, hands-on work. We're not trying to be the next GoDaddy with a million customers. We don't want more clients than stories we can remember. "Digital presence" means everything that shapes how your business shows up online: your brand, website, search visibility, and the ongoing care that keeps it all working.
What makes Origo different from other agencies?
Origo is built around a single value: trust. We help established businesses earn trust online so they can be trusted by their own clients. We keep our roster small enough that the founders are personally involved in every project. We're not the cheapest option, and we're not trying to be.
What kinds of businesses does Origo work with?
Origo works with established, owner-operated businesses that are relationship-centered rather than transactional: companies that have been around for years, have a real reputation to protect, and care about the people they serve. Past clients include collision shops, seafood wholesalers, roofing companies, and churches.
AI & Trust
Does Origo use AI in its work?
Yes. Origo uses AI as a quality differentiator, not a shortcut. We use it to research deeper, iterate faster, and ship better work, but every deliverable is shaped, edited, and approved by our team. Our positioning on AI is simple: not cheaper, better.
Will my website be written by AI?
No. Your copy is written by humans on our team, with AI used only as a research and refinement tool. We believe AI-generated content without human judgment erodes the very trust your website is supposed to build.
How does Origo think about trust?
Trust is the foundational value behind everything we do. In an era when AI-generated content is flooding the internet, we believe the businesses that earn and protect real trust will win, and our job is to help our clients do exactly that.
What is AEO and why does it matter?
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is the practice of structuring content so AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews can cite your business in their answers. As more people search through AI instead of traditional Google, AEO is becoming as important as classic SEO.
Does Origo optimize for ChatGPT and AI search?
Yes. Every SEO engagement at Origo includes AEO best practices, structuring your content so AI platforms can find, understand, and cite your business. Our work with 360 Collision earned them a #7 ChatGPT ranking for top collision shops in San Antonio.
Services & Pricing
What services does Origo offer?
Origo offers six core services: Branding, Web Design, SEO & AEO, Copywriting, Website Concierge (ongoing site management), and App Development. Most clients start with one service and expand as the relationship grows.
How much does a website from Origo cost?
Website projects from Origo typically start in the high four figures and run into the low five figures, depending on scope, page count, and complexity. We provide custom proposals after a discovery call so pricing reflects what your business actually needs, not a generic package.
How much does branding cost?
Branding projects vary based on whether you need a full identity system or a refresh of an existing brand. We provide exact pricing during the proposal stage after we understand your goals, audience, and competitive landscape.
How much does SEO cost?
SEO is offered as a monthly engagement because search visibility compounds over time. Pricing depends on your industry's competitiveness, your current site's foundation, and the geographic scope you're targeting.
What is Website Concierge?
Website Concierge is Origo's ongoing website management service, offered in three tiers on 12-month agreements. It covers updates, monitoring, security, performance, and content changes, so you never have to think about your website again.
Does Origo build mobile apps?
Yes. Origo builds custom mobile and web applications using FlutterFlow, allowing us to ship native iOS apps, Android apps, and web apps from a single codebase. App Development is positioned as a premium service for clients with a clear use case.
Does Origo do social media management?
No. Origo focuses on owned digital presence, your brand, website, search visibility, and content, rather than social media management. We believe owned channels deliver more durable value than rented ones.
Does Origo do podcasting or video production?
No. We've intentionally narrowed our service menu to the disciplines that drive the most trust and visibility for established businesses: brand, web, search, and copy.
Does Origo offer payment plans?
Yes. Most projects can be split across milestones, and our Website Concierge and SEO services are billed monthly. We'll discuss payment options during the proposal walkthrough.
Process & Timeline
How long does it take to build a website?
Most Origo websites launch within 6 to 12 weeks, depending on scope, content readiness, and feedback turnaround. Larger sites with custom functionality or extensive copywriting can take longer.
How long does a branding project take?
Branding projects typically run 6 to 12 weeks from kickoff to final delivery. Timeline depends on the depth of strategy work and how many rounds of feedback are needed.
How long does SEO take to show results?
SEO typically starts showing real results around the 6-month mark, with stronger compounding gains in the months that follow. Our work with 360 Collision produced a 329.8% increase in keyword rankings and a 294.8% increase in clicks over the engagement.
What does the discovery process look like?
Every engagement starts with a free discovery call to understand your business, goals, and constraints. From there we build a custom proposal, walk you through it on a second call, and only begin work once everything is approved.
How does Origo present proposals?
Proposals are presented live on a video call with a slide deck and drafted recommendations, not emailed as a PDF for you to decode alone. This way you can ask questions, push back, and shape the work before anything is signed.
Who will I work with on my project?
You'll work directly with the Origo team members responsible for your project, including Jon as Head Creative on most engagements. We don't hand clients off to junior staff after the sales call.
How does Origo handle revisions?
Each project includes a defined number of revision rounds at key milestones, with clear feedback windows so the project stays on schedule. We'd rather invest the time upfront in strategy and direction than burn it on endless revisions.
What do you need from me to get started?
After signing, we'll guide you through a structured onboarding that gathers your brand assets, content, access credentials, and key information. We've designed the process to require as little of your time as possible while still getting what we need.
How do I book a discovery call?
Book a free 1-hour discovery call directly through our website. The call comes with no obligation and is the fastest way to find out if we're a fit.
Comparisons
Why hire Origo instead of a freelancer?
Why hire Origo instead of a large agency?
Large agencies often assign senior people to the sales call and junior people to the actual work. At Origo, the founders stay involved in every project, you talk to the people doing the work, and decisions don't get lost in account-management layers.
Why hire Origo instead of using Webflow, Wix, or Squarespace?
Site builders like Webflow, Wix, and Squarespace can get a site live, but they rarely produce the brand consistency, performance, or search visibility that established businesses need. Origo builds custom websites designed around your business, not the constraints of a template or platform.
Why is Origo more expensive than cheap web design services?
Cheap web design typically means template work, generic copy, no strategy, and no follow-through after launch. The hidden cost shows up later in lost trust and lost leads. We aim to be priced competitively for the level of work we deliver: senior-level execution, real strategy, and an ongoing partnership, not a one-time transaction.
Why hire Origo instead of an in-house marketing person?
A single in-house hire usually costs more than an Origo engagement and rarely covers the full range of disciplines a strong digital presence requires. We work well alongside in-house marketers too, handling the specialized work they don't have time for.
Is Origo a faith-based agency?
Origo's founders bring Christian values to how we run the business: honesty, doing excellent work, and treating every client and team member with dignity. We work with clients across all backgrounds and beliefs, and faith is reflected in our character rather than as a service offering.
What if I already have a website, can Origo help?
Yes. Many of our clients come to us with an existing site that's underperforming, outdated, or no longer represents the quality of their business. We can audit what you have and recommend whether a refresh, rebuild, or ongoing optimization makes the most sense.
What industries does Origo specialize in?
Origo isn't industry-specific. We specialize in established, owner-operated businesses regardless of vertical. Past work spans collision repair, seafood wholesale, roofing, churches, and professional services, and our process adapts to each industry's specifics.
Working With Origo
What happens if I'm not happy with the work?
Every Origo project includes defined revision rounds at key milestones, and we don't move forward until you've signed off. If something isn't landing, we'd rather pause and recalibrate than push through. Our process is built so concerns surface early, not after launch.
Can I see results from a recent client?
Yes. We have documented case studies including 360 Collision (329.8% keyword growth, 294.8% click increase) and Groomer's Seafood (423.1% active user growth, 399.4% organic click increase). We're happy to walk through additional client examples on a discovery call.
What if my project goes over scope or timeline?
Scope and timeline are defined in the proposal before work begins, with clear change-order language for anything added mid-project. We don't surprise clients with bills, and we communicate proactively if anything could affect the timeline.
Do you have client references I can talk to?
Yes. We can connect you with current and past clients in similar industries or business sizes, including references like Kelly Rabedeau (360 Collision), Vanessa Garcia (Groomer's Seafood), and Brandon Mills (Roofers Catalyst). We arrange these after the discovery call when we know what kind of reference would be most useful.
What's your contract and cancellation policy?
Project work is governed by a written agreement that defines scope, payment milestones, and ownership. Website Concierge runs on 12-month terms with clear renewal and cancellation language. We'll walk through the full agreement before anything is signed.
