About Origo
We started Origo because we believe great businesses deserve to be seen.
Where we started
Not just another agency origin story.
Before Origo, my wife Emily and I ran a health-focused food truck in a small town out in far West Texas. We called it Chop'd. Salads and wraps, soups and smoothies, the kind of food that small community didn't have yet. We found an old RV trailer that needed a lot of work, bought it for a good price, and Emily and her dad renovated the entire thing inside and out. New tires, new paint, new floors, new equipment. We brought it up to code and opened for business.
We ran Chop'd for about a year. We had a small, loyal customer base and very high ratings across social media and review platforms, reflecting the quality of the food, the service, and the experience. But the plan we'd laid out didn't give us enough runway to build the business to where it needed to be. It wasn't that the food truck was failing. It was that we didn't have the time and resources to keep building long enough for it to succeed the way it could have.
Going further back, to 2015, Emily and I were planting a church out of our living room. That work, ministry, community-building, showing up for the people around us, had been on our hearts for years. It's still central to how we live.
Even further back, to being a kid: I've always had fun with technology. Playing with code. Setting up servers. Building things that worked. In high school, a friend and I custom-coded two websites that were legitimately good enough to have been paid work. The interest in this field has always been there.
I started Origo because I'm wired for this life. Not "this digital work" specifically, this life of building. I love taking nothing and turning it into something. I love the chaos and the messiness of it. I love being part of watching something come into being. That drive has expressed itself through church planting, through the food truck, and now through Origo. The vehicle changes. The wiring doesn't.
Origo is what it looks like when the wiring for building meets eight years of digital experience and a conviction that good work, done on purpose, with care, still matters.

Why we exist
We're living through a strange moment.
AI is flooding the internet with content. Trust in institutions, media, and even the businesses we interact with is at a historic low. People are more skeptical than ever about what's real, what's credible, and who's worth their time and money.
In that environment, a strong, consistent, human digital presence isn't just nice to have, it's one of the most valuable things a business can build. It's the difference between being overlooked and being chosen.
That's what drives us. We want businesses that have earned their reputation to have a presence that reflects it. We want the right clients to find them, trust them, and choose them.
Mission
To help established, owner-operated businesses build a digital presence that earns trust, so they can grow with confidence and serve their clients well.
Vision
A world where great businesses are easy to find, easy to trust, and impossible to overlook.
Trust is the foundation
Everything we build is designed to earn trust, for our clients and for the people they serve.
Relationships over transactions
We're partners, not vendors. We care about your business long after the project is done.
Design is a language
Good design doesn't just look right, it communicates clearly, builds credibility, and earns attention.
Human first, always
We use AI as a partner in our work, but the strategy, the craft, and the care are always human.
Do fewer things better
We don't try to be everything to everyone. We do a focused set of things exceptionally well.
Work worth doing
We believe work is meaningful. We bring that conviction to every project, every client, every detail.
"Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment."
, Bob Burg, The Go-Giver
How we work
Small list. Full attention.
We work with a small number of clients at a time, by design. That means you get our full attention, honest communication, and a team that actually knows your business.
We don't drop a proposal and disappear. We walk you through it. We ask good questions. We push back when something isn't right and celebrate when it is.
We use the best tools available, including AI, to do our sharpest work. And we stay in it with you long after launch.
Curious about how we actually use AI? We wrote an open policy. Read our AI Policy →
